-get a copy of Anthem by Ayn Rand- we will begin reading assignments on Wednesday.

Tuesday 10/19
Review EQ: What are the characteristics of nonfiction?
-Nonfiction open note quiz
-Vocabulary unit 5 exercises for a grade
HW: get a copy of Night by Ayn Rand. Remember for those that have financial difficulties, I DO have some copies.

Wednesday 10/20

10/11-10/15 [a bit late, let's blame the PSAT!]

What we did:
10/11- Sub day! You watched the Elie Wiesel/Oprah video from Auschwitz

10/12: We reviewed Night for the test on Thursday

10/13: I didn't even get to see 2nd due to PSAT testing but the rest of us went over the words from Unit 5 vocab and did CTS for that unit

10/14: Today! Night test and catch up on vocab 5.

10/15: We will review our performance on the Night test and we will preview for a nonfiction piece on tornadoes by participating in a Listening/Speaking/Viewing activity. HW: finish chapter s 4 and 5 of Night [assigned over the weekend] and review. Be prepared for a reading check. Also review vocab for quiz on Thursday 10/7 *Bring textbook again tomorrow*
