Ms. Register (The Reg): I am a mama to my little Rhiannon and an aspiring writer. I especially love screenwriting which is what I am concentrating on at the moment. I recently had a short film at the 48 Hour Film Fest that garnered an audience favorite award. We're still waiting on jury decisions! My long, sordid education is a tale of parchment collection. I graduated from Harrison High School in 1994 and attended UGA for a couple of quarters until I decided to become a film major. So I transferred to Georgia State and earned that degree in 1998. After a period of working and "finding myself" (which included activities like medieval re-enactment) I enrolled at KSU at the urging of my boss who insisted that I would make a good teacher. I earned a second bachelors in English Education and then gave KSU some more money recently when I earned a masters in Professional Writing in 2009. I have taught for 7 years at Marietta High School, Hiram High School, Kennesaw Mountain High School and now Pope! Email me at sara.register@cobbk12.org
